Hello this is my first post and have tried to find the most suitable place to place this as i have seen a few people get annoyed lol.

I have a Mazda 2 TS2 (09-UK) and was wondering if the lights should flash once the car has locked or unlocked etc, as mine have never done this but passing a car the other day which looked like a Mazda 2 (from a distance) seemed to flash. Can anybody please clear this matter up for me and if i need to contact the dealer to sort this out for me, cheers

Strange! When locking the car with the remote lights should blink. But I guess this must be an option that can be tuned from the dealer. If you don't get it while wireless-ly  locking the car contact your dealer to solve the issue.

You have to click the lock symbol twice to deadlock the doors and activate the alarm - then you get a flash from the indicators.

two flashes when unlocking, one when locking (deadlocking doesn't alter this).... at least that's how it is on my sport....

Just taken delivery of my 1.5 sport.which seems to have an intermittent alarm.I'm gonna monitor it for a few more days before a phone call to Mazda me thinks.Think you may have an alarm fault that seems to be getting quite common. See threads on alarm problems. I believe its a part in the control unit.

I have a masda 2 TS2 2004, the idicators do not flash when arming and disarming the central locking, they used to but suddenly stopped working, does anyone know how to fix this, I can do wiring work myself, I will be getting a wiring diagram for the car but if anyone has fixed this already it would be nice for me to jump straight to the problem.
