Hey Bud
The connectors on the bulbs is very tight thus keep pulling, they wil come loose.
The blacks wire wit the circle must be grounded to the chassis and the code is the same as H4.

hey got them in yesterday, had a little trouble with them tbh, snapped a bit of plastic from inside the passengerside headlamp, this bit of plastic holds the clip for the bulb, but we managed 2 clip it on and thus its keeping itself there lol, ill get a pic up later but im happy with them very obv difference to halogen in my opinion

Hi,  sorry to put a damper on your HID upgrade but maybe you should have read this first, http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roadsafety/drs/hidheadlamps I also assume you've informed your insurance company as well?

Lets hope you don't have an accident, I've just been involved in one in my car, if then I'd found out that the person had made modifications to their car making it illegal, thus uninsured, I would probably want to linch them. At the end of the day it's up to you, however perhaps a little thought as to why we have such laws. Just think how you'd feel if it happened to you...

accident.....what happened?

I think most people who make modifications to their cars dont tell their insurance companies about it but the bad thing is the fact that the hid on M2 is an illigal modification which could land you in the hands of the law if it contributes to an accident.
Also think most people like the xneon/whiteish look from their lamps...am one of those people Cool so to stay on the right side of the law in the uk, a simple bulb change made the difference but if you fanncy the risk (though illegal, not many officers now the difference, if any) gl.

well i done it, and ive even flashed a copper with the high beams to let them out of a junction, had no bother from the law, drove past a few, some i could see checking out the glare from the beam but as i said, not a single issue from any of them, so tbh im keeping them in, and anyway i dont have a choice, had to modify the rubber caps on the back of the headlaps to fit them over the hid's lol ive used the dip on the beams to put them to the road more, thus reducing any unecesary glare to other road users....ill get a pic up when i can to show you all that its harmless lol, just goverment killjoys and penpushers!!!!!

^ ^ Exactly the same as me.
Had no trouble from police.
They even flashed me as I drove past (prob due to brightness of them), I flashed them back 3 times! (not knowing they were police) They didnt turn around though:)
I too set them lower on the road to prevent too much glare.

Lovely!
