Hello guys,
Newbie here!  My better half is going to buy a Mazda 2 over the next week or so.  Just wondering if it has a timing chain or belt?  Sorry if it comes across as a silly question.

No, the 1.4 Diesel has a timing belt...However its a long lasting one which only needs replacement every 100,000 miles or every ten years, whichever comes first.
