Hi All,

Just ordered a Tamora 2 in spirited green at the weekend (via the wonderful the scrappage scheme).

Whilst I'm waiting for a delivery date I was wondering about the running in period for modern engines.

Any thoughts or suggestions regarding max rpm and mileage to cover before giving it full berries?

I know you're not supposed to keep the engine at a static RPM (eg constant 70mph on a motorway) and not labour the engine.

Cheers

I believe there is no running-in period for modern engines. People do it just as a precautionary measure. Also I dont think constant RPM is a problem unless you keep it over 5000.
