hi guys and gals took my m2 sport into dealer as it is making a rumbling noise from passenger side front wheel and when you brake it seems to get worse Sad they took it for a test drive about 5 minutes and when they came back they said they think i have got a bent shock absorber Shocked but do not have one in stock so will have to order one in Undecided they also said i must of hit a pot hole to bend it Huh? (i think it would have had to have been more like a crater to bend that) the funny thing is though the steering wheel is straight and there are no wobbles in the steering also i know i haven't hit any so i think they will try to charge me :Smiley lol. try all they want they will not get my money Cry will keep you all posted on the result as should be done next week sometime

Lots of stories of bent wheels, blown tyres and busted suspensions on the forums right now due to the shocking state of the roads. Some folk have having success suing the councils responsible.

From the symptoms it sounds more like a dodgy wheel bearing than a dodgy shock to me...Its easy to fix and bearings dont cost that much so why not consider doing it yourself so you can save your money.

i've already dropped it into dealer about the same time you were typing your reply TS2D2003 lol but your thinking was the same as mine and i've told them to check the wheel bearings first as car as only done 7500 miles and should be covered by the warranty :Smiley but i will see what they say when i pick it up tomorrow on a plus note didn't see any of the mechanic's with cowboy hats on Lips Sealed
