New here and joined as my Grandad owns a Mazda 2 2006 and has managed to fudge up his stereo. He has put the wrong code in a few times after changing the battery and it now just shows ERR. Has anyone got any codes for the headunit or is it a case of going to Mazda and paying them to fix it?

hi rick and welcome i think the radio code should be in the owners manual if your grandad still has it but don't know if the stereo will lock you out after about 3 attempts worth a try though Smiley

Thanks, unfortunately he has managed to lock the stereo out already! I told him to just leave it till i got there but alas he did not.

Yep "err" means stereo locked out so an expensive trip to the dealers coming up I'm afraid.
