Who gets fed up with f***in pot holes???

Well peeps my Wolfrace Shark wheels are RUINED thanks to all the lovely pot holes in the U.K!!!!

Hit a pot hole on the way back from taking my girl friend home. Placed a Coke can in the pot hole the next morning and the pot hole was deeper!

Due to this my front right wheel was cracked in half, bent where there are balanced and also buckled! Almost flipped my car thats how badly my wheel was cracked the only thing keeping the wheel together was the steel rim.

Getting onto the highways agency to have them send me a cheque for £665 for a new set of wheels!

Will post more info when I have it.

Can't honestly see that working over here. We pay enough in VED as it is, and now Brown's cronies have levied another 3p / litre on fuel (staged April 2010 / Oct 2010 / Jan 2011) there should be more than enough sloshing around in Government coffers to sort out our potholes. But it won't be used for that will it - we've got this whacking great trade deficit to content with, so the monies will go towards reducing that instead.

My advice would be to get used to the potholes - 'cos they ain't going away any time soon!

Hi, I've found, that once reported to the local council, they then have to do something about them...

I read somewhere that it's not actually a highways agency issue, apparently the local councils have to deal with it on their own roads, I have also heard of some councils getting the unemployed to do the work, not sure how much they pay them but it solves 2 problems in 1!

hope you get your money back but dont hold your breath... there are 7 pot holes on my road. i hit two 1 after another and my alloy just packed up and the car hit the deck... took pics of it there and then with the car over the pot hole and when it was moved... reprted it to the local council and asking them to pay for just the 1 new alloy... they sent me back a letter saying there wasnt a problem with the roads... day after reciving that leter my hole road was geting re layed and the council said my photos were fake and from another road and so on....

I'd take them to court for the damage to your car and slander thats bang out of order.
I broke my wrist whilst on my motorbike after swerving to miss a car pulling out on me and hitting a pothole but by the time I went back to get photo's the pothole had been filled.

seems a quick way to get potholes fixed is to tell the cuntcil that it has caused damaged/accident. They would rather fix the hole than pay out on claims.
