Hello everyone,
I came up to this little thing which seems pretty useful to me if you don't plan to change the headunit.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350255675112&_trksid=p2759.l1259

Does anyone know if this is compatible? It says mazda2 all models. I also asked the seller and wait for his response.

Has anyone seen the back of the original head unit to confirm that it has this port?

UPDATE:

Found this on ebay:

I think is the one at the right side??  Huh?

Btw I found some other similar items, what do you think??

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-SD-AUX-Car-MP3-Player-MAZDA-2-3-5-6-CX7-MX5-323-/190386534651?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Car_Audio_In_Dash_Receivers&hash=item2c53ebf8fb

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-MP3-iPOD-Interface-Adaptor-Mazda-cars-/200459241180?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP&hash=item2eac4d46dc

BTW as it connects to the CD changer port and fools the car to think it's the CD changger at one link says it supports 6-12 folders depending on headunit.
I guess our headunit supports only 6?

Thanks, it looks quite promising, but a bit too expensive for my liking. The car already comes with an aux so the only bonus you get with these would be the ability to control the mp3 with the car controls?

Well at first I thought it was a usb port without any limits.
But with just 6 folders available and I think up to 99 tracks each maybe it's not that usefull overall.
I might consider it sometime in the future as you can still have you usb plugged in, no need for cd mess and still change by the steering wheel!

Why don't you just plug your ipod/mp3 into the Aux port? and save £60?
