I have just bought a brand new ts 2 3dr that appears to have a solid clunking noise when i go over heavy bumps/holes on the road .

Had it back into dealer who has changed a rear shock absorber and has adjusted the brakes .

Has anyone else heard or getting the same noise ?

Yeah I brought a m2 sport in feb and it has the same problem they have changed shock absorbers etc but have still not found the fault.
my car has so many faults that they have not resolved they are now having to replace my car.

It's not good that you take a brand new car back and they cant find what is wrong with it.

Remember they get 3 chances to fix it if they fail to do so you are within your rights to request the car is replaced or have your money back etc.
read my thread about rejecting a car under the implied terms act.
consumer direct and your finance company will help you with the rejection process if you take it that far.

I sometimes get a squeaking noise from the rear left but I noticed that it is after the car was not level but was pushing more pressure in the rear left suspension. I get it for about 5 seconds and then it's gone.

angelos you would know if you had this problem it's a quite loud hollow knock when you go over a decent bump.

I haven't noticed any sounds over bumps and we have many in most of our roads  Angry

My rear seat makes a clunk if I go over speedbumps because of the metal brackets

My rear seat makes a clunk if I go over speedbumps because of the metal brackets

Mine used to do this, only noticeable at slow speeds though. Wrapped some electrical tape around the brackets to reduce the 'play' between bracket and latch, and the noise has gone...
