Hi all,

Has anyone bought a roofbox for their Sport?
The Thule Pacific 200 which seems to be on the Mazda accessory list has the warning "Use on vehicles with rear roof spoiler not recommended (touch condition if tailgate will be opened)." so presumably no good.

http://mazda-2.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/detail/model=63/category=ROOT-touring/accessory=Roof+Box+(Short+Type)/id=4888

Is this a big issue or do you just have to be careful open the tailgate so as not to knock anything?
I was wondering if a shorter box would work better.
Does anyone have any experience of this?

I hope there's a solution. I need more storage space for holidays..

Chances are the one on the mazda site will be massively over priced anyway.
your best bet is to go to halfords or somewhere like that and ask for advice and get them to fit it then if there is any problems with damage to the car you can give them the bill for the damage.
