Hi Folks,

I have been reading through the forum but this is my first post. I will be picking up a new Aurora Blue Mazda 2 Sport 1.5 5door around 4-6th July.

Just looking for some advise about what to look out for when I go to collect? Are there any common faults and niggles I should be aware of at my initial inspection?

Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome,
take a quick look around for any scratches and check also that electric mirrors work and fold. You could do that for the windows also.

Thanks, has there been a lot of people with dodgy mirrors? Anything else I need to watch out for?

specific things to look out for with the 2 i'd say are:
clutch click when depressing the pedal to change gear
dodgy central locking where the alarm goes off after locking
rear wheel bearings can have issues

but then again everything is covered my the warranty! Cheesy

Hi, and as the car is new this shouldn't be a issue yet and I would have hoped that Mazda would have sorted the rear wheel bearings by now..
