I noticed yesterday that the little round button on the rear hatch is starting to crack.

Has anyone else noticed this happening to theirs?

The button has been replaced (under warranty) on both of our March 2008 cars, and a few weeks ago I left a note on the windscreen of another 2008 TS2 to let the owner know their's had cracked as well.

We found that ours had gone over the winter and it was possibly water getting in through the crack that caused the lock to freeze up on several occasions.  It is another area of poor build quality that lets the car down in our opinion.

So not just mine then - sounds like a fairly common problem.

I'll get this done while it's still under the manufacturers warranty, along with my corroding alloys.
