Mazda Service Plan

Hi all,
I am now the proud owner of a Mazda 2 1.5 sport in brilliant black. When I bought it they tried to sell me a "Service Plan". This basically means paying for the first 3 years servicing monthly. The first payment is £22.86 and then its £14.24 a month. This adds up to £507.02. I couldn't find the definitive answer on these forums or elsewhere for the first the costs of the first 3 services. When I asked the dealer how much it would save me he was a bit evasive and said "about £50" which made me suspicious. One good thing about it was that the price is fixed and is therefore immune to the January VAT hike and any increases in labour costs.

What do we think? Worth it?

My second service (22K miles) was £150 at my local Mazda dealership.
