Sport spec

hi all. waiting to sign for a new 60 reg 1.5 sport (3dr) petrol.
How do I know that I have the very latest spec, not one that has been stood around for months waiting to be sold.Is there any new spec planned eg integeral bluetooth, leather seats etc.Any advice what to look for please. Also what is the best price I should be paying and where from. happy to travel the country if price is good.

The last model update i believe was in 2009. One definitive way to tell if the car was pre-update is the blackout-dials feature. As in pre-update models it was white exactly like the ts/ts2 models however it was updated so that it now has blackout dials which are different from the ts/ts2.

There are other subtle changes aswell but i cant remember them , maybe a more knowledgeable member can enlighten you

I can a sure you it wont have been stood around waiting to be sold because I have a 10 plate sport and when that was brought the end of may there were none in the country in any colour.
I had to have the first colour that was coming from japan (sunlight silver) and if I wanted anything else I would have had to wait up to 6 months for it to come from japan. so as long as it has the blackout dials its the current model.

Safe bet then if car has blackout dials is current model.Does anybody know if there are any additions or changes to sport under the 2011 heading ?
Also what is a good price to pay with no p/x.

I have seen pictures for the american model and its a subtle face lift again nothing major but from my understanding from my dealer said we are not getting the facelift until towards the end of next year so if you want the new new model you may have a wait as the 09 facelift has only been available for about a year.

In may I got £500 towards the deposit, paint protection and mats and I paid bout £13000-13500 with metallic paint on the road.
your best bet is to just go down there haggle the best deal you can out your local dealer then ring around and see what deal you can get.
My local dealers don't put the prices on the net.

I was told a similar story by my dealer - the 2 goes off the shelves pretty quick, especially the white ones. Was lucky to get mine without having to wait for another boatload.
