Diesel Power!

I'll be keeping an eye on my 2 consumption and will be reporting it here.

First fill up ever, 52.6 MPG, mostly motorway. Far away from the 65 mixed cycle fuel consumption, but the car has only now 350 miles.

I wouldn't expect the quoted figure until you have about 3k on the clock. On our old diesel demo i would get 45-48mpg just doing a 3 mile journey every morning & evening.

Hi, I'd be suprised if you do get the quoted figure, these consumption tests are all done under 'simulated' conditions and not on real roads under real driving conditions...

I was going to ask is it ever possible to reach the quoted figures? Would it ever be possible to have an avg of 5.4l/100km?

my 350z (however ugly the figures are vs the 2) is about spot on vs the quoted figures tbh! (late teens town driving (stop start, short trips) mixed driving about 25mpg and motorway driving is 28-31mpg.

So I'm hoping at the very least to get to early 60mpg since im mostly doing motorway!
