Has anyone had any problems with the starter motor.  My car has just broken down and needs a new starter motor.  The car has done under 2000 miles!

Our 1st demo had a weak starter motor no one believed me, These service guys don't listen to salesmen!

I believe Mazda are going to announce a recall for selected cars that have been effected, I've only had it happen on a Sport so far tho.

No idea but Mazda have sent someone from Japan to have a look at my car - hopefully will straighten out the problem today - still persisting unfortunately.

Yeh you will recieve a letter but do not worry if you are not having a problem, Very very few people have had the problem. One case in our dealership in fact
