Guys

Have anyone else had problem with a squeek coming from the rear of the car??

I think its something to do with the rear seat/parcel shelf area.

Anyone else have the same problem and any idea how to resolve it?

Back to the dealership?

Hi, I had a squeak for a bit at the back of the car, mazda2 1.5sport and fixed it by loosening and reseating the spare wheel, plus i operated the rear seats a couple of times and it seems to have gone away. I've also found squeaks from the back occur if you don't seat the rear seats properly after dropping them, I've found the seat belt can stop the seat from seating properly. Hope this helps

thanks Jim

i will give it a try on all you suggested.

However, it does seem to be the rear seat as when i sat on them and "wiggle" around, the noise/ squeek is quite auido-able

hi

i have the squeek/creeking from the rear if the car has been stood over night or for awhile, when i get in and drive off i hear the squeek/creeking from the backend i think it sounds like the rear shocks, after driving a short distance (a few meters) it stops. i also have the rattle from the passenger door / B pillar around where the seat belt hight adjuster is, ive moved it up and down pressed on the area and even gave it a few hits and it still rattles while driving, i usualy resort to the knob on the stereo to get rid of it
