Well guys and girls here here are simple maths Tongue

+ =

As you can see no more yellow light effect but a lot % brighter light that lights up the nights Tongue There is a tiny blue tint effect but only when you are really close to something because of the H4 glass Wink I loved  especially those xenon W5W. They are really white as you can see;)

So for everyone in here that wishes to change his/her lights I attach a homemade how to with images used from the manual but with a simplier method Wink I spent some time making it hope you appreciate it! Enjoy  Cheesy

That's awesome! Really. Mazda's lights are really good even stock compared to others I've tried but I sooo want to do this, I've never really done anything like this to my previous car and trying it on a new one with all of the warrenty worries... Ah man, frustrating to say the least. If I replace a bulb, and there's some electric problem, when I come to fix it they could say it's not covered by the warrenty because I changed the bulb, right?

Actually the owner's manual has a guide to change a bu;b but has a warning that it should be done by Mazda technicians! So I guess they mention it in order to use it against you if any problem occurs if you change it! The lamps I used are the same specifications as the manual suggests! I fitted them with a friend who knows of these things and even thought I had my worries after a month everything is fine!
As they are branded headlamps I don't see any reason when fitted properly to cause any problem! My only worry was about the sidelights which don't have their brand printed on them but when I compared them with the originals they had the same printings!

Hi, I'm sure this technician advice to xenon headlamps and not to ordinary ones...

They are mentioning this and for the H4 lamps but I guess not because of the  knowledge you need but because of extra money it'd cost  you!

I've just checked my regional car manual. Road and parking lights do not have a notice requiring the work to be done by a professional. The fog and front turning signal lights should be replaced by an expert technician, preferably a mazda certified technician. My model doesn't have xenon headlamps, but they probably require professional assistance as well.

According to the manual, the side turning signals must be removed with the plastic cover as well as they are a combined unit. So if you're looking to change those lights it will require buying a set with the plastic cover/lense.

you can find xeon bulbs on google or ebay, theres loads of online shops, and theyre quite cheap or you could get a xeon kit and fit it yourself but its expensive, the headlights you have are not like the newer model which is being sold now,

these are yours yeah?

new model ones which are xeon

I bought them from an ebay shop for 14GBP and with delivery around ~20 GBP!
I was an offer giving away the Osram Nightbreaker H4 bulbs and the 501W5W Xenon extreme white (as i said uknown maker) the same as here http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-w5w-xenon-extreme-white-pair-c-597-p-1-pr-16339.html ! And I mean the same because their package was from autobulbsdirect! The have osrams discount but if you want better offer check ebay;)
