Just reading the post re calliper painting and as they go rusty on most Mazda's, I wondered what type and brand of paint you would suggest. I plan to paint them black and an aerosol spray would be preferred Cheesy

i use hammerite brush on about £5 a tin enough to do two cars! Cheesy
you can use spray but i didnt fancy masking up the surrounding area! Tongue

hey i'm about to paint my calipers. did any of you jack up the whole car or only one end at a time? i have two axle stands (jack stands) and am wondering if its possible to jack up and hold the car in place with only two stands. i've seen it done on a few youtube videos but am not sure if its safe?

I did them once with the jack that came with the car. One wheel at a time. When a friend if mine was installing the foglights jacked up the front of the car on 2 stands on a flat surface and there was no problem.
