i just thought i would let people know that i have a price for the iPod adapter accessory which fits into the back of the stereo so you can use the controls on the steering wheel and head unit. From the dealers it costs £150.23 but if you don't fit it yourself it will cost £238! also if you want that and the aux port to work you will also need a switch box costing £51.95 from the dealers. I think i will be waiting a few weeks to see if i can get one cheaper on the internet if i find one i will post it.

Hi, it looks like it connects via a multi-changer socket but I'm not sure if the 2 has this facility. However if you e-mail Denison they might be able to help you... Chris

does the aux line still work near the hand-break or did you need a switch-box?

How tricky is it to fit? Is it something that a carefulyl approach and the right tools could master or is ti more tricky?
Any chance you can post some simple instructions so I can take a look and see if I want to attempt it?
James

also looking forward to some details on the how-to, the AUX-IN is nice but my I-pod gets low on power quite quickly...

I have the 2Sport, and my AUX port works and came as standard? connected to the stereo and steering wheel, and I can easily connect my iPOD to it aswell.
The only thing I find, with the AUX port... Is that anything you decide to plug into it, isn't very loud? even with your volume on both car and iPOD etc. on FULL?

Yes but the aux port doesn't let you use the steering controls! Only to change beetwn radio and aux! I use the AUX with my N95 and I never had a problem with the sound not being loud!
