You either have to much time on you're hands or way to much surplus money to do all this work on your car.

Slightly harsh don't you think? I asked how to fit them, not your opinion on what I should and should not do with my car. If you don't like it and have nothing mildly usefull to say I'd appreciate it if you kept your opinion to yourself.

now now people , be nice everyone has their own point of view, lets be grown up and accept them Garethts you will need subframes to fit the bucketseat correctly to the car but this is an expensive item, or you could go down the road of making your own brackets and failing your MOT

Hi Gareth,
Have you considered your side airbags? They're actually mounted in the side of you seat.
And also it may be worth thinking about your seatbelt options as you've got the pretensioners under the seat. It may be worth you investigating harness options.
One big plus of changing the seat is you're going to make one heck of a weight saving, which should aid performance (and economy) - which is what the 2 is all about. Good luck with the project!

good comment by Wades. he's right in what hes saying , have you thought about the cons and pro's or did u just decide to get new seats which is wot im guessing you did, seeing as your young like myself and i used to be like it but as ive seen proper modified cars and not just the crappy chavvy ones that drive round the streets. ive gone down the road of , if your gona do something to your car , do it correctly and spend the right money cos itll all be worth it in the end

Thanks for the advise Wades Belive it or not I have actually taken all this into consideration. Apart from the frames i don't know where to get them from. I am aware of the airbag sit, and im still looking for a way around it. The seat belt: have looked into it, http://www.reflexsafety.co.uk/sbh_1.html seam adiment on saftey, so i am going to enquire about one. The main thing for me is the weight, because the standard seats are heavy!!! but I didn't want to get a cheap one, I have always liked recaro seats. And you only live once! So if anyone knows of the best way around the airbag issue would be great, as i now have a bad head from all the research
