Over the weekend 11th-12th April, a lot of special motoring events are being organised. See my Gatherings thread for a comprehensive list.
One example is the Midlands Classic Car show to be held at Morton, just south of Stoud, Junction 12 M5.
Not too far from the suggested Swindon but with entertainment laid on.
A bit of a trek for the northerners but heh the real fun is in the driving rather than the discussing!
Having made the suggestion this old guy will be waiting for Elvington in May.
