Does anyone else think the 2's ariel is MASSIVE?? makes it look like a remote controlled car lol
and the reception is brilliant either!!
i'll be looking in to getting a shorter one
not a bee sting one tho as they are rubbish!

Yep, mine kept hitting the gargae door so I chopped the stock one down. Reception isn't affected that much but I don't listen to the radio much anyway.

ive got a anti theft richbrook saber (saber tooth) ariel on my car looks good plus reception is good, alot better than bee sting but not as good as standard ariel.

had a couple ideas:

courtesy of vtecmonkey on photobucket - Honda S2000 stubby aerial (very common replacement choice)


courtesy of bokiau on photobucket - VAG style (easy to get hold of and cheap aerial)


anybody else seen any OEM aerials that look good? (I'm guessing OEM aerials will give the best reception)

Ive just swaped mine for a VAG one looks fine and alot shorter reception is the same
