I'm after a new cradle for my phone and like the look of the Brodit stuff...
But looking at the website, I have noticed a bit of an issue.

They list a Mazda 2 mount for the pre-facelift model which is perfect, but my car is post face-lift. The cradle they show for that is A: poorly placed by the centre console and B: from the photos doesn't look like it'd fit a UK spec Tamura at all!

Anyone tried fitting the pre-facelift mount to a newer car? If memory serves me that part of the dashboard (to the right of the glove box where there is a gap between the top of the dash board and the bottom) hasn't changed at all.

I think I'll probably have to contact Brodit themselves about this one.

Is it this one - http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/brodit-proclip-angled-mount-mazda-2-07-onwards-p17473.htm?

I think that should still fit, but don't quote me on that.

I'm surprised car munufaturers don't build mobile-holders in nowadays as it's not really an un-common thing anymore is it?
