Greetings! I'm new to the forums and immediatly came down here to vote on the poll, I was interested what color on the New Mazda 2 people liked the most. To my surprise, the color of my ordered Mazda 2 is not in the list! Perhaps it's not available in the UK (I'm from Belgium). So I started looking for a picture of the color I had ordered and didn't find any either... I ordered the Radiant Ebony Mica. Here's a picture of the Roadster in Radiant Ebony Mica:  Would love to see it being added to the list so I can participate in the poll! |

Radiant Ebony is not available in the UK. Its an old Mazda colour that was brought back for the special edition Mazda MX-5 Z-Sport last year....

Unfortunately I don't think Mazda UK would allow dealers to order anything that hasn't been officially sanctioned although I suspect they could in theory order anything from the factory.
I know when I was looking to buy an Impreza a few years ago now there was a lovely light blue that wasn't available in the UK although it did appear on a limited run special edition one year. However the Dutch and Belgium dealers were able to order a UK car in this blue colour any time they wanted.

Makes sense, as they have to make the cars with the steering wheel on the right side for UK cars, I suppose the options and all are a tad different then.
But in the end, it doesn't really matter, my car dealer called me today that he received the same model I ordered but in Metropolitan Grey, and he wanted to know if I was interested. Since Metropolitan Grey was my original choice I didn't hesitate and booked the car, so in a few days (read week) I'll be the proud owner of a Mazda 2 Sport Metropolitan Grey Mica!
I'm very excited already!

Officially not but I came across a radiant ebony one in the UK on autotrader tonight. Given it has the CVT transmission and a colour that isn't normally available here I'm pretty sure it has been imported from Japan. From autotrader... I hadn't noticed the reference to convertible. Makes this car even more interesting!
If you do go along I would like to know what they say. I'm curious to see what this radiant ebony colour looks like in the metal although buying an import doesn't appeal especially if I have to return to the dealer where I bought the car for any warranty work.

Convertable? lol that's why there isn't any pic! And it says it's a hardtop!!
Here the steering wheel is on the right too and radiant ebony is available from the mazda dealer so there is a european version of it right-handed!
