Any you guys noticed when you put your foot down, say from third gear onwards, you get the power, but there is delay,it happens now and then.its not like vvti in a Toyota or Honda vtec when you hit 4500rpm say you get more power. I'm going to say to dealer when its in for a service. Wink

I don't think that's a problem I notice it sometimes too! When you put immediately your foot down it takes some seconds to respond!

Seconds? guys, you are crazy Cheesy To feel acceleration, you need to have car in some rpm, ideal between 3.000-4.000rpm, than you can feel fast response from throttle pedal.

There is no cable or cylinders to the throttle. Its all fly by wirless stuff so it all computer sensor controlled which may account for a slight delay. As majki points out you need to be in a higer rev range to get acceleration. If you want faster accelaration opo down to a lower gear and put down. 2nd gear will take you to 60mph before you need to change.

Yep. As above, also how many miles have you done?

Mine had a noted improvement after 1500-2000 miles.

I also noticed that on 3rd or 4th gear instead of immediately pressing the throttle , if you depress and then press again the pedal (to the metal Tongue ) you get better and more immediate response! Has anyone else notice this? And if yes what's the explanation?

Sorry not noticed any difference with the throttle response on my sport, it seems to be the same as any other car, but I've only done 1,970 miles so far. Perhaps its progressive wth use or have you had this issue from new? Smiley
