I test drove a Honda Civic, Seat Ibiza and Mazda TS2. I decided on the Mazda, and had origialy wanted the TS model. I then read the spec of the TS and TS2 and decided to go for the 5 door 1.3 TS2. I put a desposit down and am due to sign everything tomorrow and collect it on Thursday. The problem is I am now thinking I want to go up again and go for the 5 door 1.5 Sport. Is it worth the extra £2000 or shall I just stick with the TS2?

I wanted to mod my TS2, so if I got the Sport then I'd get the sports styling kit anyway and so I'd have the spoiler etc. Also, the extra inch on the alloys is appealing. The extra speed is also appealing, I really don't want to struggle along. I would also really like a trip computer, which only the Sport model has. The rear electric windows are good too. As well as the rain sensing wipers and auto headlights. Then on top of that there's the cruise control, and 2 extra speakers.

I'm so confused and don't know what to do now :-S

If I stick with the 5 door 1.3 TS2 I save £2000 and drive it away on Thursday.
If I go for the 5 door 1.5 Sport I spend an extra £2000 and have to wait longer - but I get extras.

Any advice?Huh? I'm due to sign everything at 2pm tomorrow (Tuesday!)!

To late to help in the decision making process, as I've been away on holiday for a few days, but convinced you have made the right decision, enjoy. Grin Grin

I was very lucky - my dealer found a Sport in white already in the country. Not certain buying a white car was such a good idea though - its a pig to keep clean!

Well done - right decision - they are like chalk & cheese.
We have had a white one for a month now - really happy. Yes they are a pig to keep clean. Tar removal and re-wax a weekly feature for me at the moment due to the roads being in such a state. However we got white as I detail cars for a living and wanted it to be a bit of a showcase.
More like a nutcase decision maybe Wink
I think it is the best colour for the Sport.

Do you find it annoying how the rain runs down under the bottom edge of the rear window, then down the centre of the tailgate, leaving a black line?
