Hey,

Just wanted to know what the Audio system is like on it.

The Music i listen to has alot of low Bass sounds. Will it sound good in this car or will i need some form of Upgrade?

Cheers

i guess it also depends on the quality of the song but you cant expect too much with factory fitted speakers in small cars.

On the subject of audio, has anyone noticed poor/intermittent FM reception?

Not really althought I am comparing to the FM signal in my old Fiat Punto (which was bad)..Mazda 2 seems to be 10-20% better..nothing like my fathers Volvo XC-70...

Mil-san is right, the bloody reception in fiats is awefull. Don't realy know why either. Haven't noticed any problems with the 2 but most of the time i'm listening to some banging toones on my MP3.

Ps i have NO idea what a 'banging toon' is.

I am comparing it to my Mini Cooper..which admittedly did have an upgrade to 'Radio Boost'...whatever that was, but sounds like it may have been something to do with boosting signal!

Haven't yet had chance to plug in MP3 player...is it controlled via stereo buttons or through the player itself?

Unless it's an ipod and you have the ipod connector installed , you can only control it via the mp3 it's self as far I know!
