@gazr [OFF topic]: My TZ7 has can achieve a 1/2000th shutter speed but the only setting to go that far is to set the minimum shutter speed to 1/250! Any idea how can I get that speed? Even in sports mode the maximum was 1/640 or 1/1000 (got it for 1 or 2 pictures only I think)! Since there is no manual setting do you have any suggestion?

Has it got a Tv setting, if so you should then be able to select the shutter speed you want and camera would select the aperture?
If not and the light conditions would have an influence also Smiley

Oh the Tv setting is (shutter Priority) when you select the speed, if the camera has a manual setting for the ISO this will also have an effect Smiley

There is not a TV setting but there is an ISO setting up to 1600! Considering that I want that shutter speed at daylight will I get a lot of noise ? :/

I can only assume therefore that the camera decides when to use the high shutter speed setting in sports made for example and relates it to the ISO you have set.Grin
My Canon compact G7 has full manual modes as well as Av, Tv, P and auto. If I select Tv up to 2000/sec the camera sets the aperture.
Sorry I can't help any more, but will try to have a look at your camera tomorrow when I visit Manchester for the weekend and see if I can suggest more things to try Grin

Here's an update on the Mazda 2 for a 3 issue. Undecided
Got to see the 3, 1.6 5door Sport today at the dealers, in fact it had only just been delivered, so had not had a PDI so was in need of a clean too, but I really liked it.  Wink
The sales manager just gave me the keys and said go and have a look and see what you think.
Hope to get a road test in the next day or so and will let you know what I decide, but at this stage it looks like I'm going to change my 2.  Sad but  Grin too.

LOL
Google09 Just don't tell anyone when you've changed the car, we'll never know! Wink
There is of course that mistake somewhere on here that says "discuss mazda 3" or something I can't remember where it was now. That should get you in on a a technicality Smiley
