Well managed to get a test drive today in the all new Mazda 3 1.6 Sport and really liked it, probably due to me having a 3 before I bought the 2 Sport. Subject to me being able to crack a deal with the dealer on Monday I think I shall be changing to a 3 Sport.  Sad

Sorry to all of you 2 drivers for deserting you, but the truth of the matter is I miss the extra size of the 3 and having had the clutch problems with the 2 I have already posted, I think I will change if the deal is right Sad Besides that the extra space will be better for carrying a wheel chair for my elderly mother (89 years young) when I need too.

The 3 is no where near as quick of the mark as the 2, but at my age that's not an issue, so I will let you know on Monday/Tuesday what I decide to do. Grin

Hello Guys,
Well I've gone and done it and ordered my "All New Mazda 3" 1.6 Sport today in Aluminum Silver Metallic to replace my 2 Sport.Grin Delivery expected 3rd June, so must now start the process of transferring my cherished number plate from my 2 to the 3. (again)

As well as the clutch problems experienced and already reported on the forum, the truth is in down sizing from a 3 to a 2 in March, I missed the larger vehicle and had difficulty in doing the things I used to on a day to day basis like, access for my elderly mother (89 years old ) in and out of the car for whom I care for on a daily basis and fitment of her wheel chair from time to time in the car was a problem too, so back to a 3 it is.

Thanks for all the tips and advice I've gained from this forum its been a blast for the brief time I've been involved and if its OK I'll stick around on the forum until the 2 actually goes in June. Sad
Regards, Gary (google09 / gazr)

It's a public forum Gazroogle09. Stick around and contribute as much as and as long as you want. It'll be interesting to hear the main differences between the models, any problems you may have etc... And don't foget as an almost former owner who had problems you may be able to help another member having the same.

Wades I think you're starting to mellow a little with the Ford thing, so I recon if I can talk about the 3 from time to time, then Chris should be allow to do the same with his Mondeo as its a Mazda 6 with a Ford  badge I think? Undecided Grin
