Colliers Mazda, Acocks Green, Birmingham!
AVOID at all costs!  Angry
they are utterly useless I've had a couple of problems with my 2 and they have made the whole experience horrible!  Sad
latest screw up was the gear knob! the common problem of the numbers spinning.
Simple order another one no problem 4 days later no phone call so i popped in to see if it had arrivied.... it had so i asked "Could i have it then?" they replied "No it will need fitting and all the mechanics have gone home." i said "it's only a screw on I'll do it, I'll take the old one off first to exchange." they replied "No we have to do it so i can book you in 5 days later." its a 2 minute job i couldn't believe they couldn't fit it in any sooner. netherthe-less i booked it in and dropped it in this morning, they then rang me asking if the silver trim gear knob on my Mazda 2 Sport was an accessory.. i replied "no its a sport they come standard!" (they sell these FFS!) i went to collect it at 1 as i had said i would in the morning and it wasn't done they had ordered the wrong gear knob and left the old one half unscrewed i was going to go back in and mention it but i couldn't be bothered with them! however they did manage to re-grease my rear brake shoes which they believe was causing the knocking in the morning but the week before they had no idea what it was and just fobbed me off. with the numerous times I've been back forth to them they have not once offered me a courtesy car, i did enquire once they just said no (isn't a huge issue as i work 5mins from Mazda)

RANT OVER... FOR NOW!!

Don't wait, do it now  Sad Angry
If you call Mazda customer service to complain the dealer receives a problem report the same day and has to complete it and have it returned to Mazda within 3 working days, so do it and make sure you stick it to them during the telephone call  Smiley

I have a friend who wrote into the HQ and a few days later got a personal apology from the mechanic who served him. Someone has to put them in their place - don't allow yourself to be trampled on!

Hi, no but there probably ex-ford ones  Cheesy We had exactly the same experience with our gear knob, in the end the mechanic went and sheepishly got one from a showroom car  :Smiley

Well i would have to say that Shaws of Mazda in bangor, is the worst mazda dealer because i was in the middle of purchasing a mazda 2 from them and as he took me out to look at the car, the front spoiler was cracked, and hanging off and the underside of the engine was scratched to bits and he continued to try and sell me the car brand new.  They said o no it will be fine we will repair it for free, i mean who in there right mind would buy a damaged used car, so i told them where to go and bought one from another dealer.

The Mazda site gives a telephone number to call on the contact us section of 08457 484848, so I would call this number to get the ball rolling and be , but polite Angry
