Here Are Photos of how i fitted my 6x9 speakers into my parcel shelf

Started with applying a piece of mdf for support to the parcel shelf, Cut the holes in it and glued it on

Next part was the fibreglassing to get the shape i wanted then sanded down

Then went to halfords and got 1metre x 2metre of enclosure cloth, and a can of adhesive spray

Then cut it to shape and fitted it on

Then fitted 6x9's speakers in

Then Put it back into car

All Thats left to do now is to retrim the wood that is visible round the holes that the 6x9's sit in
and job done Cheesy

The most i have done is fit a second cirggerette lighter plug up near the indicater. As you have fitted these did you have to modify anything  im thinking changing the door speakers at the rear seats to 6x9 or is it really case of a new head unit to be able to do this.

CAn somebody recommend some better speakers to fit them (without cutting, drilling etc) into front and rear doors? Those fabric speakers are quiet good, but I miss mid-tones almost...hmmm? Smiley

I find them quite good too as factory speakers! I don't know if factory nit supports updating them, I think there is a switch somewhere on the net :/ ...
