Hi all I just bought a 2nd hand mazda2 sport dashboard and install to my mazda2 and I counld not turn on my car, the dashboard show a sign which say means my key is having problem, then I tried with my old dash board and it is fine, then I made a test with start with my dashboard and remove the cable and plug into the sport one, it works but still have 2 light on, one is airbag light and the other is no key light after shut off the engine, it wont start the car again.......so what should i do to solve the above problem???

Why did you buy a 2nd hand dashboard that was in a sport when the dashboard is exactly the same accross the range or i not understanding you right.

From what I know all Mazdas have there own unique code which should be in the info they gave you when you got the car. The main use i was told for this code was to reactivate the radio if you disconnected the battery. I dont know if somthing simelar has to be done to the new parts to work but its the only thing i can think of.

Did you test the dash in the car it came out of? I assume it was a write off of some descipion which may expalin the airbag light. Maybe you would need the Codes from that car.

I'd be off to the local dealers if it was me...
