Hey guys just got my new Mazda 2 sport last week with the iPod connector but have a strange problem with it (not sure if it's normal or not!). Basically, whenever I play an MP3 CD, I can turn "Random (RDM)" on and choose either shuffle disc or just the folder and whenever I skip to the next track, shuffle stays ON.

However, when I play music from my iPod via the iPod connector, I turn RDM (Random) on, and as soon as I skip to the next track, RDM (Random) turns itself off.

Is this normal or is there a way to keep it on permanently?  Huh?

surely if you got it set to random then you dont need to change track?  simple really, the random selection assumes that you dont want it to carry on doing its job so it turns itself off, it is a software feature after all not a human. Wink
