Hi everyone!

Had enough of the current car, 9 years old, on its last legs, bits falling off left right and centre and the next service bill will cost more than the cars worth...

..so what better time to get a new car..

..and what better car to get than a Mazda2!

I was thinking of getting a (brand) new 1.5 Sport 5dr, but unsure as to what colour! I wanted white after seeing it on the 3dr, but not sure what it'll look like on the 5dr and can't find any photos anywhere!

The list price on the Mazda website is £12,345 - and thats all i can find anywhere! Is that the same price as down the local dealership? (Which has about 4 cars on the forcourt..)

Is this roughly what everyone paid? Get much of a discount?

I'm excited, but i know when i order it i'll have to wait for it to turn up Sad

Thanks in advanceee!

Erm i think 1 is a mazda2, 5 door in dark grey, not sport.

One is a silver lovely lovely lovely (!!!) rx 8 and two other not so nice big mazda's!

It just looks like it... isn't doing much business, so maybe i'll avoid that one and try and find another one!

If ur talking brand new, the £12,345 list price you saw is probably for a standard Mazda2 Sport 1.5 5dr. As far as I know that only comes in red, and if you want any metallic paint options (any other colour than red then!) its an extra £400 or so. I got a 5dr sport in spirited green for roughly £11,500 so you can knock about a grand off quite easily. Just ring around dealers and play them off against each other. I really do like the white too but from what I hear the waiting times are very long, and also would be a pain to keep clean!

Good luck though, if you car is 9 years old do you qualify for scrappage? I know some dealers do it at 8 not 10 years so you might be able to.

You can get LOTS thrown in or off if you try.

I think I paid about 12,500 and I got my wheels, sports exhaust, paint, lux mats, scuff plates, short aerial...I think that's it.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new member and about to join the Mazda 2 Clan, after driving Ford Fiestas for the past 15 years-all from new, all kept for 3 yearseach. This time, however, Fords pricing a bit crazy and delivery times long so have made the switch.

Ordered Mazda 2 1.3 TS Aircon (3 door) yesterday at the dealers special offer price of £8795 OTR which is pretty good!! Lengthy test drive in their brand new demonstrator (6 miles on clock) convinced me I could live with it.

Now the stupid question, thought I looked at everything on the car but don't recall seeing a clock-is there one??
Part of the cd/radio I guess?? As I don't get my car for a couple of weeks could one of you Mz2 experts confirm there is a clock somewhere??!!!

There is a digital clock on the stereo when it is on Smiley
Nowhere else though.
