Hello everyone!
I found this info for the new color codes on the net but I would like to know where they are located on the car!
I went at a local paintwork shop and they couldn't locate the code! Not in the engine bay, doors and so on! ther mazdas have it under the rear bumber but nothing there! The code I provided matched the metropolitan grey but on the car the location is unknown!
Anyone?

HI I WORK FOR A MAZDA DEALERSHIP IN THE UK AND THE COLOUR CODES WHERE REMOVED ROM VIN PLATES ABOUT 2001 THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET AN ACCURATE COLOUR FOR YOUR CAR IS TO HAVE THE DEALER ENTER YOUR CHASSIS NUMBER INTO THE SERVICE RECORD AND IT WILL GIVE YOU THE MANUFACTURERS PAINT CODE FROM THAT AS ITS ALL LOGGED WHEN THE CAR IS BUILT HOPE THIS HELPS

http://www.paints4u.com/productsByCat.aspx?MainCategoryID=51&SubCategoryID=42

including metropolitain gray code 36C

quite a good search engine to locate all mazda colours....not used it in anger but looks the biz.

Hello,

New to this forum but hope I can get some advice from others.. I've had my mazda 2 just under a year now and unfortunatly have some minor door scratches, which is so annoying!!!
Finding the colour code is proving difficult, is it right from what norksby saying I have to phone up mazda dealership to find the correct code? Its brilliant black but of course there are so many shades of black out there. Anyone else with the same problem?
