Mines a Soul Red and it has chips on the bonnet and when I took it to the Mazda spray shop they say they will have to spray the bonnet and the wings to match the paint at ?600. I now have another larger chip on the rear passenger door. Knowing about the bonnet that could be another ?600, and the paint is so thin and not very strong. If you want a Mazda 2 think about how easily it chips and how expensive to fix. Chips Away won't touch mine because of the Soul red paint

The newer Japanese hatchbacks in general have this trend, dad's Toyota Yaris is 15 has same issue and I believe they don't use the same quality or thickness as before to save costs. However idk if you guys can get the smart insurance they might cover you for small chips? (guy comes down and sprays with a ?10 excess charge?
Saying that after collecting my 2nd gen Mazda2, the front suffers more than average stone chips than other cars I'd say.

My D-Blue 2 is already has a few small chips and light scratches, and that's with me constantly cleaning is every other week.
Its a typical Modern Mazda as my old pearl white 3mps was the same  >:(
