Looks great.

Where did you buy the mud flaps from?

Cal,

Yea your ride looks the biz... saw you going on halfords car park the other weekend in a local town & near the wind farm on my way home one eve... msg'd you to see what you did with the two holes in the front where the lugs are missing from the badge mod ?

Got a spolier in spray at the mo, shinney black, lowering springs on order, just need to get the fogs, fit the seat splitter & finish my 7" android tablet mod, fitting it in a 2din dash modded  :-\

Will be able to run the Torque app with my OBDII interface to get all that ECU data on guages on the dash.....   ;D

If you like these mods wait till the lad posts his....

He's just put it on....

Nice lot of gear going on there, how is the tablet mod coming along?
Saw it in an Audi a while back, looked very smart.

The tablet mod been on hold for the mo, will have a look again over the next few weeks....

Quick run down on the mod so far....

take one of these ( needs to have blue tooth if your going to connect to a bluetooth OBDII dongle... I got the one with wifi & GPS so that I can use it as a satnav & load stuff on from the web when Iam at home.... )

Running this....

Put the following app on.... use this on my HTC android phone aswell....

Gives you all the ECU OBD information in user selectable guages graphs etc....

Pair it up with one of these plugged into your diagnostic port.....

( be careful where you get it from, some of the cheap ones available don't work as well as others mines
a firmware rev 1.5a )

Get one of these.....

mod it ( hack it around like mad )   ::)   to get this...... need to build up a back piece out of plastic
to sit the tablet in & hold the connectors to allow it to be angled & slid in to the dash like a phone
craddle.....

then you can run this.....

now you can enjoy large guages & readouts of all your useful ECU data....

will keep you posted as to how It goes.....   ;D

This is utter genius, I had no idea you could do that. I'm so having a bit of that app on my phone. I'll have a hunt around for an obd box :)

Needs a project thread?!

Glad you all like it...

Made sure the tablet was android ver 2.2 same as my HTC that I use the app on, no version problems then.... watch out for ver 1.6 upgrades on Ebay, better with a pucker ver 2.0 or above...

That particular one is

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7-Android-2-2-Capacitive-GPS-Bluetooth-Tablet-PC-MID-/320696844267?pt=UK_AudioElectronicsVideo_Video_TelevisionSetTopBoxes&hash=item4aab057feb

But there are others out there, cheaper if you dont get GPS ( wanted that for google maps & nav,
but you need the bluetooth for the Torque app ( if thats what your going for )  without bluetooth even cheaper, most come with wifi & usb ethernet adapter so that you can load stuff onto them.... the usb OBDII adaptors wont work with the app....

kk cal, thanx for msg about badge... similar idea to mine, black plastic sheet behind the badge then back
on.... you see the lads matt white M2.....

You have to buy the app, couple of £ but I've got it on my HTC desire & the 7" tablet... does logging &
allows you to send file to email account, you can choose the OBD data to display etc... got some software
for the laptop with the OBDII adaptor, Palmer Performnce Engineering PCMSCAN... does logging, reset errors, reads all ECU data...

Posted to do with this app & OBDII before.....

Will try & keep you all informed as the project goes on....
