Alloy,s corrossion
« on: February 06, 2011, 11:53:56 AM »
Hi All
After reading other post on this site it is apparent that corrosion on the front alloy's of Mazda 2 ts2 is common. I purchased my Mazda 2 two weeks ago actually on the day the three year warranty expired. it was only after joining this forum that it became apparent of the corrosion problem and the awareness that Mazda has of it. has anyone been able to get replacement alloys out of warranty after all it is obvious that this corrosion never started in the last two weeks. do you think i have a case?

Thanks

Ian

Certainly won't hurt to ask.

If you bought from a Mazda dealer you might stand a better chance of getting somewhere.

Good luck.

Mazda were going to replace the wheels until they noticed that the original owner had missed a service so now mazda has declined  :(. I must say that Mike at EMG mazda at Cambridge has been very helpful.
