Alloys for M2 Capella
« on: June 03, 2011, 11:13:52 AM »
Hi,
Currently have 17" alloys fitted to my M2. Very harsh ride  >:(  To combat this I want to fit 14" alloys/tyres.

Was told I needed PCD 4x100 wheels and found a nice set (with tyres) on ebay but they don't fit  :'(
Fortunately, seller will take them back AND arrange collection  :)
[Could PCD 4x100 be for new M2 ?]

Measuring the stud centres it seems I need PCD 4x108 wheels but I'm not sure what to get. Don't want brand new so looking on ebay for used, preferably with decent tyres. It seems the old MX5 wheels may be suitable but can anyone point me towards any others which will fit?

So far, have drawn a blank with salvage dealers/breakers (mainly Ford wheels), on ebay, despite correct PCD .

All advice welcome.

you need to ensure the overall diameter of the wheel and tyre is the same as the standard wheels or your speedo will not read the correct speed.
