TURN RADIO ON WITH NO KEY IN IGNITION?
« on: January 28, 2016, 01:18:01 PM »
A few weeks ago I got a December 2010 Mazda2 TS2. As far as I can tell there seems to be no way I can have the radio on unless the key is in the ignition lock. This is a bit of a pain if eg. the children want the radio on whilst I go in a shop etc.
On my previous Fiesta and Focus the radio could be switched on without the key in the lock (it would say on the LCD '1hr' which I assume meant it would auto turn off after one hour if I forgot to turn it off again).
Do all Mazda 2s have this small annoyance or is there something wrong with mine like a wire off or something, or is there actually a special way of turning the radio on without the key in the lock and I have just not found it.
