Removing rear drums

Hi guys I'm new here was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the rear drums on my tamura 1.3 do you need a large socket like 30mm to remove the hub nut or is there another fixing to remove them ? Hope you can help

Scott holland..

You take out the two counter sunk screws then the drum should come off ( handbrake off ) if they are still stuck you need to release the self adjusting mechanism slightly...

Scott holland....

Are you just after adjusting them ?  They should auto adjust as you brake and as you apply / release the hand brake ?

Hi Shaun yes I've only had the car a little while,I think it's been tightened up on the handbrake cable as the handbrake is good but not the foot brake,I going to remove the drums manually adjust the shoes see if it makes a difference?
